Hellraiser is the fifteenth studio album by the Swiss hard rock band Krokus . It contains the single "Angel of My Dreams".

background

After Krokus with Rock the Block , the first number 1 album in the band's history, and the live album Fire and Gasoline (Spontaneously Combustible) - Live! had made a highly regarded and extremely successful comeback, the band seemed to have stabilized. But once again the line-up shouldn't last until the next album. First of all, lead guitarist Fernando von Arb - the only band member who had played constantly on all studio albums since To You All and had also maneuvered the band through the turbulent 90s - left the formation before the planned North American tour, possibly because he was during the creation of the DVD Krokus: As Long as We Live made friends again with the former bassist and founding member Chris von Rohr . He was replaced by Mandy Meyer , who already gave a short guest appearance in the band in 1981 after Tommy Kiefer was kicked out for the upcoming dates of the concert tour at that time. After this tour, Stefan Schwarzmann - the first German in the band's history - replaced the outgoing drummer Patrick Aeby. In the line-up of Marc Storace , Mandy Meyer, Tony Castell, Dominique Favez and Stefan Schwarzmann, the album Hellraiser , which was mainly made in the House of Audio in Winterbach, was recorded, which with the single "Angel of My Dreams" as a support promptly number 2 in the Swiss album charts achieved gold status in Switzerland. This was followed by his own headlining tour through Europe in the same year, during which some more songs on the album were "Hellraiser", "Too Wired to Sleep", "Fight on", "Midnite Fantasy" and "Spirit of the Night" appeared regularly in the setlist. In 2007 they went on a very successful concert tour, also leading through Europe, as Hammerfall's special guest and with The Poodles in the opening act. Frontman Marc Storace finally used the artistic break announced on the official website to reunite with some long-time bandmates: After informing the other members of the Hellraiser line-up of his decision, lead guitarist Fernando von Arb, bassist Chris von Rohr and Drummer Freddy Steady returned before rhythm guitarist Mark Kohler was presented as the last component of the so-called original formation. The successor Hoodoo was to emerge from this line-up . The Hellraiser album , which has a slightly different Krokus lettering on the cover, was released in a limited edition in addition to the standard edition, which also included the bonus track "Walking in the Spirit" and the live video "Hellraiser" recorded in the Swiss winter sports area of Hoch-Ybrig and "Rock City" contains.
