The Collection is a compilation album by the Swiss hard rock band Krokus .
background
The Collection is a compilation by Krokus exclusively released in the UK through the Connoisseur Collection label. On the one hand it only contains songs from the years 1990 to 1995, i.e. from the albums Stampede and To Rock or Not to Be as well as from the EP You Ain't Seen Nothin 'Yet , and on the other hand it was also released via a record company, which the band never had a regular contract, it shows remarkable parallels to the compilation Best Of published two years earlier . Differences, however, can be seen in the number of songs as well as in the weighting of the albums included and thus also in the selection of songs: While Best Of still includes the two studio albums almost equally, The Collection 's main focus is clearly on To, with more songs overall Rock or not to be . Nevertheless, this compilation is also to be rated negatively, because again only two studio albums and one EP were considered, which did not come from the internationally successful phase of Krokus. The Collection is not listed in the discography on the official website, but is mentioned by name.
