Long Stick Goes Boom: The Anthology -

Long Stick Goes Boom: The Anthology is a best-of compilation by the Swiss hard rock band Krokus .

background

After a best-of compilation sold by Collectables and BMG and three best-of compilations by Ariola and Arista , Long Stick Goes Boom: the Anthology was the fifth publication of this type of crocus . Like The Definitive Collection , it contains digitally remastered versions of the selected songs. This compilation, like Headhunter Blitz with Castle Music, appeared on a label that the band never had a regular contract and is not listed in the discography of the band's official website. Like all its predecessors, Long Stick Goes Boom: The Anthology consists exclusively of songs that were created while working with Arista and Ariola, but unlike those compilations, it also contains excerpts from the live album Alive and Screamin ', also published by Arista . Basically, the compilation is to be rated better than Stayed Awake All Night: The Best Of and Headhunter Blitz , since the playing time of a CD is almost completely exhausted and the compilation with a total of 18 songs also represents the best-of compilation by Krokus with the most content to date, however, the repeated embezzlement of the albums Metal Rendez-Vous and Hardware is just as negative as the fact that the hit single "Long Stick Goes Boom" is included in both a studio and a live version. It should be noted that to date no best-of compilation by Krokus has been published that covers the entire oeuvre of the band.
