Prior Convictions is a compilation album by the Swiss hard rock band Krokus .

The compilation Prior Convictions was released on the Arista label , which Krokus had under contract at the time of publication. The compilation was released exclusively for the Australian and New Zealand markets and contains songs from the years 1980 to 1982, i.e. from the albums Metal Rendez-Vous , Hardware and One Vice at a Time . Since the band recorded their first - but to this day only - chart entry in New Zealand with the work Headhunter, which was released in 1983 , it can be assumed that this compilation was released to advance the newly acquired Australian and New Zealand fans on the albums that were successful in Europe and North America 1983 to draw attention. Prior Convictions is not listed on the official website's discography and has only been released on LP to date.
