Henning Dralle
Henning Dralle (born December 3, 1950 in Celle ) is a German surgeon and university professor.
Life
As the son of a surgeon in Celle , Dralle attended the Ernestinum Celle and passed the D examination as an organist in Celle in 1968 . After graduating from high school, he studied church music for one semester and then medicine at the Christian Albrechts University in Kiel from 1969 . He later went to the Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg and the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz . In 1975 he passed the state examination at the University of Hamburg . He wrote his doctoral thesis with a fellow student at the chair for social and occupational medicine at the Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg . In 1976 he becameDr. med. PhD. He was a medical assistant in pathology and surgery at the University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf and in internal medicine at the Marienkrankenhaus Hamburg . In 1977 he received his license to practice medicine .
He began his medical training in Eppendorf in 1977 with Werner Janssen ( forensic medicine ) and Gerhard Seifert (pathology). In 1979/80 he was an assistant doctor in general surgery at the Marienkrankenhaus. He then worked as a rotation assistant at the Center for Surgery at the Hannover Medical School until 1985 . There his teachers Harald Tscherne , Hans Georg Borst and above all Rudolf Pichlmayr were . He qualified as a senior physician at Pichlmayr in 1986. In 1990, the MHH appointed him an adjunct professor .
On November 1, 1994, he took over the chair for general, visceral and vascular surgery at the Martin Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg . He took care of the structural and personnel reorganization of the clinic and the polyclinic. He set up a center for visceral surgical oncology with new surgical methods, a station for surgical intensive therapy and computer documentation for the central operating room. The biomathematist Carsten Sekulla took care of a supra-regional quality assurance for cholecystectomies , appendectomies , colon resections and thyroidectomies . A training program has been established for the Surgery Center, a rotation system for surgical assistants in training and a weekly interdisciplinary clinic conference. On June 1, 2016 Dralle moved to the University Hospital Essen , where he took over the management of the "Endocrine Surgery" division.
Dralle specializes in oncological surgery of the thyroid and pancreas .
On December 1, 2016 Dralle took over the management of the clinic for general, visceral, vascular and trauma surgery at the St. Josef Hospital in Essen-Werden.
