Henry Kielmann

Henry Kielmann (born February 11, 1929 in Hamburg , † March 27, 2003 ibid) was a German actor , director and voice actor .

Life

Kielmann had theater engagements at the Städtische Bühnen Kiel (1953–1955), at the Stadttheater Bremerhaven (1955–1957) and at the Theater Basel (1958–1961). In 1973 he appeared at the Hamburg Operettenhaus in the musical Helden, Helden von Udo Jürgens , alongside Paul Hubschmid , Julia Migenes and Gabriele Jacoby ; With the Hamburg cast, a record was also produced, in which Kielmann participated. He often worked as a director for the theater. In 1974 he staged the folk play Zitronenjette by Paul Möhring at the St. Pauli Theater in Hamburg , in which Henry Vahl played his last stage role; the performance was also recorded for television. In 1989 he directed the comedy Plaza Suite by Neil Simon with Nadja Tiller and Walter Giller at the comedy Winterhuder Fährhaus .

In addition to his theater career, Kielmann worked intensively as a speaker for radio plays . He has worked on the Europa label in numerous radio play productions that have now achieved cult status.

In the radio play series Die Funk-Füchse he took over the role of father Becker from 1981 to 1983 . In 1981 he spoke various roles in the horror series with radio plays by HG Francis ( The Pact with the Devil , The Night of the Death Rat , The Deadly Encounter with the Werewolf ). In 1982 he worked for the Maritim label in the Edgar Wallace radio plays Die Gang des Schreckens , Neues vom Hexer , Das Gasthaus on the Thames and The Weird Monk as a police inspector. He was also in several episodes ( The three ??? and the double , The three ??? and the reef of the sharks , The three ??? and the Automarder and The three ??? and the infernal werewolf ) of the radio play series The three ??? to listen. He also appeared several times in the TKKG radio play series, including in the radio plays Nachts Wenn der Feuerteufel komm (1982), Das Geiseldrama (1982) and Duell im Morgengrauen (1985). In the Perry Rhodan radio play The Third Power and Company STARDUST , he took on the role of Dr. Manoli . In the radio play series Schubiduu ... uh the castle ghost , he spoke the role of Schubiduu ... uh in 12 episodes.

In 1999 he spoke the role of the superior Hirsch in the radio play Magdalena by Jürgen Fuchs in a radio recording of the Norddeutscher Rundfunk .

From the late 1960s, Kielmann also played numerous roles in television films and series. Kielmann was mainly used as a character actor , often in concise supporting roles. In 1973, he played the community leader and country leader Reimers in the literary film adaptation of farmers, bigwigs and bombs . In 1979 he embodied Uncle Richard , who was on the German national scene, in the multi-part television series A Chapter for Himself . He also appeared in several episodes of the crime series crime scene . In 1977 he played the father of student Sina Wolf ( Nastassja Kinski ) in the Tatort episode high school diploma .

In 1981 he was on the ARD TV show One Will Win from Kiel as a performer and actor.

Kielmann, who also worked regularly as a voice actor, lent his voice to Nino Manfredi , Jean Rochefort , Vincent Price and Christopher Lee, among others . Kielmann also worked as a dubbing director, including on the series Golden Girls .

Henry Kielmann had been married to the voice actress, dialogue book director and author Annemarie Kielmann (née Röttger) since 1962 .
