Hinterköpfchen at Ingendorf

The Hinterköpfchen nature reserve near Ingendorf is the smallest nature reserve in the Eifel district of Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate .
The 1 hectare area, which was placed under nature conservation in 1987 , extends north of the local community Ingendorf . District road 14 runs south .
The protection purpose is the preservation of the Keuperscharren and the limestone grasslands with their adjoining bush formations as a habitat for numerous warmth-loving animal and plant species and their communities, especially the Lorraine linseed variant of the gentian - semi-arid grass .
