Ingendorf is a municipality in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate . It belongs to the Verbandsgemeinde Bitburger Land .
geography
Ingendorf is located southwest of the district town of Bitburg on the western edge of the Nimstal . In this valley at an altitude of 250 m above sea level. NHN is also where the historic residential area is located.
history
The current local community was first mentioned in a document in 792. The couple Harduwin and Ava gave the Echternach Abbey goods to Innig at that time . Ingendorf's Roman origins were uncovered in 1841 when a larger area of Roman settlement was excavated in the area of the intersection of the Ingendorf, Bettinger and Wettlinger districts. In the corridor "Hinter Rod" a little west of the village, remains of the submerged village "Roderzehen", which is known from a document from 1352, were found.
Until French rule, Ingendorf belonged to the Ließem and Wolsfeld rule in the Duchy of Luxembourg . After the region was assigned to the Kingdom of Prussia at the Congress of Vienna , the municipality of Ingendorf came to the mayor's office Dockendorf in 1816 , which later became the mayor's office of Wolsfeld (renamed Amt Wolsfeld in 1927).

The town center is the location of several listed residential buildings.
In the center of the village there is a chapel built in 1960 with a pointed roof . It is supported by triangular and partly free-standing buttresses .
The community has a large children's playground with an adjacent football field.
