The nature reserve Wingertsberg near Hüttingen is in the Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The approximately 45.5  hectare area, which was placed under nature protection in 1999 , extends on the eastern edge of Hüttingen an der Kyll . The district road  43 runs on the northern edge of the area , not far to the west and south the Kyll flows .

The purpose of protection is

• the preservation of semi-arid grassland , oat meadows and orchards , abandoned limestone quarries and mixed shrubbery and deciduous forest formations as habitats for numerous heat-loving animal and plant species and their communities as well
• the development of intensively used open land areas into rough meadows .
