IC 719 is a lenticular galaxy of the Hubble type S0 in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 78 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by Rudolf Spitaler on March 24, 1892 .
