NGC 3763 = IC 714 is a bar-spiral galaxy of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Becher in the southern sky . It is an estimated 256 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 85,000 light years in diameter.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 3722 , NGC 3724 , NGC 3732 , NGC 3789 .
The property was discovered by Andrew Ainslie Common in 1880 .
