IC 737 is an elliptical galaxy of the Hubble type E / S0 in the constellation Leo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 180 million light years away from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years in diameter.

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on April 23, 1892 .
