IC 753 is a lens-shaped galaxy of the Hubble type SB0 with an active galaxy core in the constellation Virgo on the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 273 million light years from the Milky Way and about 30,000 light years across.
In the same area of the sky are u. a. the galaxies NGC 4030 and NGC 4044 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on March 22, 1893 .
