IC 768 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sc in the constellation Virgo to the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 177 million light years away from the Milky Way and has a diameter of around 75,000 ly. It is listed as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster under catalog number VCC 38 . In the same area of ​​the sky are u. a. the galaxies IC 767 , IC 769 , IC 3036 , IC 3039 .
