IC 784 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sbc in the constellation Virgo north of the ecliptic . It is estimated to be 213 million light-years from the Milky Way and about 120,000 light years in diameter.
The object was discovered by Lewis Swift on March 25, 1889 .
