IC 795 is a spiral galaxy with an active nucleus of the Hubble type S in the constellation Coma Berenices in the northern sky . It is estimated at 289 million light years from the Milky Way and has a diameter of about 40,000 ly.
In the same area of the sky are the galaxies NGC 4455 , IC 791 , IC 3359 , IC 3429 .
The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on June 5, 1893 .
