IC 806 is a spiral galaxy of Hubble type Sab in the constellation Raven on southern sky . It is estimated to be 457 million light years from the Milky Way and about 100,000 light years in diameter . It probably forms a gravitationally bound galaxy pair with IC 807 .
The object was discovered on May 25, 1892 by Stéphane Javelle .
