IC 800 is a bar-spiral galaxy with extensive star formation regions of the Hubble type SBc in the constellation Haar der Berenice in the northern sky . It is estimated to be 102 million light years from the Milky Way and about 45,000 light years across . The galaxy is listed under catalog number VCC 1532 as a member of the Virgo galaxy cluster .
The galaxies NGC 4523 , NGC 4540 , IC 3519 , IC 3522 are located in the same area of ​​the sky .

The object was discovered by Stéphane Javelle on April 22, 1892 .
