The International Darts Open 2019 was the twelfth tournament of the European Darts Tour 2019 , which will be held as part of the Pro Tour 2019 . It was held from September 13th to 15th by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC). The venue was again the Sachsen-Arena in Riesa .

The title was defended by Gerwyn Price from Welsh , who triumphed 8: 6 legs over Rob Cross from England .

format

The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode was best of 11 legs in the first rounds , best of 13 legs in the semi-finals and best of 15 legs in the final . Each leg is played in double-out mode.

The tournament totaled £ 140,000 in prize money. The prize money is distributed among the participants as follows:
