The Czech Darts Open 2019 was the ninth tournament of the European Darts Tour 2019 , which will be held as part of the Pro Tour 2019 . It was held for the first time by the Professional Darts Corporation (PDC) from June 28th to 30th . The venue was the PVC Expo Praha in Prague .
In his game against the Englishman Glen Durrant , the Welshman Gerwyn Price managed to decide the duel with a nine dart finish
The tournament was won by the Englishman Jamie Hughes , who defeated his compatriot Stephen Bunting in the final with 8: 3 legs .
format
The tournament was played in a knockout system . Game mode was best of 11 legs in the first rounds , best of 13 legs in the semi-finals and best of 15 legs in the final . Each leg was played in double-out mode.
Prize money
The tournament totaled £ 140,000 in prize money. The prize money was distributed among the participants as follows:
