The Iraqi U-23 national soccer team is a national team of Iraqi soccer players . It is subordinate to the Iraqi Football Association IFA and represents it internationally at the U-23 level , for example in friendly matches against the teams of other national associations, at U-23 Asian Championships and the football tournaments of the Summer Olympic Games and the Asian Games .

So far, the team has qualified twice for the Olympic football tournament. In 2004 she took fourth place in her first participation. Iraq took part in the U-23 Asian Cup three times and became Asian champions at the first edition in 2014 . At the Asian Games in 2006 the silver medal was won.

Players who have not yet reached the age of 23 and who are Iraqi citizens are eligible to play.
