Jan Alinč (born May 27, 1972 in Louny , Czechoslovakia ) is a Czech ice hockey player ( center ). He last played in the third highest Czech ice hockey league (2nd division) at HC Most and was formerly a member of the Czech national ice hockey team .
Career
Alinč began his career in 1990 with the Czechoslovak first division club HC Litvínov , for whom he played in the Extraliga until 1996 . This was followed by two positions in other European countries, first two seasons with Porin Ässät in the Finnish SM-liiga , then one season with MoDo Hockey in the Swedish Elitserien . In 1999 the left shooter returned to the Czech Republic and came to HC Energie Karlovy Vary via HC Slavia Prague , for which he completed 210 Extraliga games until 2006, in which he scored 116 points . During the 2005/06 season, the attacker moved to the Kölner Haien , for which he played 14 games including play-offs.
In addition, the Czech, who was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the seventh round in the seventh round in the 1992 NHL Entry Draft, was in the 1994 Olympic squad of the Czech national team for the Winter Games in Lillehammer.
Alinč signed an annual contract for the 2006/07 season with the Krefeld Penguins . On February 16, 2006, the Krefeld Pinguine announced that the existing contract would be extended for two more seasons until 2009. During the 2007/08 season the striker took part in the DEL All-Star Game in Dresden.
After this season, however, there were disputes between Jan Alinč and the KEV, so that the attacker's contract was terminated prematurely. The Czech then moved to league competitor EV Duisburg . After bankruptcy in the spring of 2009, he moved back to his home country for HC Slovan Ústečtí Lvi . With this he won the championship of the second division, the first division , in 2011 .
Between 2014 and 2018 Alinč played for HC Most, initially in the second-rate 1st division and, after relegation in 2017, in the 2nd division.
