Jochen Baumert
Jochen Baumert , also Joachim Baumert (born April 30, 1939 in Liegnitz ; † February 18, 2018 ) was a German actor and radio play speaker .
Life
Jochen Baumert learned the bakery and confectionery trade in the former GDR . He later moved to the Federal Republic of Germany and studied in West Berlin at the University of Music and Performing Arts . Baumert had many engagements in Hamburg, for example at the Altona Theater from 1966 and later at the Klecks Theater. Further engagements took him to the Ohnsorg Theater , the Theater in the Room and the Theater for Children .
In 1982 Baumert came to the Karl May Games in Bad Segeberg when he stepped in for the actor Sam Hawkens after the dress rehearsal . Baumert remained loyal to the open-air theater on Kalkberg for over 20 years, playing Sam Hawkens again and again , in addition to other comical characters such as Aunt Droll , a total of seven times. In 2006 he ended his engagement in Bad Segeberg for health reasons. In 2008 Baumert appeared again in his star role at the Karl May Festival in Elspe , where he represented his fellow actor Jogi Kaiser, who was unable to attend, in some performances.
Since the beginning of the 1980s, Jochen Baumert also frequently worked in front of the camera and played in well-known series such as Stubbe - Von Fall zu Fall , Da geht Kalle or Notruf Hafenkante . He also had several guest roles in the cult series Großstadtrevier , and he was repeatedly seen on TV in television broadcasts of the Segeberger Karl May Games.
In addition to radio plays by the North German Broadcasting Corporation, Baumert also worked in several commercial radio play productions, such as the Five Friends or The Three ??? and also repeatedly in radio plays based on novels by Karl May.
Jochen Baumert was married and lived in Hamburg.
