Johny Schleck
Johny Schleck (born November 22, 1942 in Assel, municipality of Bous , canton of Remich ) is a former Luxembourg cyclist .
Schleck was a participant in the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo . There he finished 19th in the road race .
Between 1965 and 1974 Schleck was a professional cyclist and took part in the Tour de France seven times . From 1965 to 1968 he drove for the Pelforth - Sauvage - Lejeune team, from 1969 to the end of his career with the Bic team.
In 1965 and 1973 he became a Luxembourg champion. He achieved his best placement in the Tour de France in 1970 as 19th overall. In 1973 he drove in the team of the eventual winner Luis Ocaña Pernía .
Schleck is married and has three sons. Two of them, Andy (* 1985) and Fränk (* 1980), are also professional racing cyclists and came second and third in the 2011 Tour de France as the first pair of brothers to stand on the podium together.
