Roger Thull
Roger Thull (born May 22, 1939 in Tétange ) is a former Luxembourg cyclist .
He took part in the International Peace Tour as a young amateur in 1959 and finished the tour at the age of 80. In 1960, Roger Thull was Luxembourgish champion in the amateur road race . In the same year he started at the Olympic Games in Rome and finished 51st in the individual road race and 28th place in the road world championships . Then Thull became professional . In 1961 he rode the Tour de France , but gave up during the twelfth stage. In 1963 and 1964 he was national road champion of the professionals, 1962 and 1965 runner-up.
Roger Thull's younger brother, Marcel , was also a cyclist.
