Franz Heck (cyclist)
Franz Heck (born February 6, 1899 in Gilsdorf , † January 8, 1977 in Cannes ) was a Luxembourg cyclist .
Athletic career
In 1922, Franz Heck became the Luxembourg road racing champion , and vice-champion the following year. Heck was the first Luxembourger to also compete in standing races, especially on the velodrome in the Buffalo Stadium in Paris . He spent the winter season 1924/1925 in the United States, where he also competed successfully in standing races. In 1923 he was national champion on the track in sprint . He was the only starter to appear, drove the number of laps prescribed by the association and was awarded the title.
He ended his career in October 1928 after a track race in Paris.
