Jonjoe Kenny (born March 15, 1997 in Liverpool ) is an English football player . The defender was under contract with FC Schalke 04 as a loan player from Everton in the 2019/20 season .

Career

Kenny was educated in the youth of Everton FC . He won the championship title of the amateur league Premier League 2 in 2016 and 2019 with the U23 of the club, of which he was temporarily captain . In the 0: 3 against Blackburn Rovers in the 4th round of the FA Cup 2015/16 , the defender made his debut for the professional team.

He then gained experience in the men's division at Wigan Athletic in the third division and at Oxford United in the fourth division. In the summer of 2019, a one-year loan deal was agreed with the German Bundesliga club FC Schalke 04 .

From the U17 onwards, Kenny played games for all English junior national teams. With the U17 he was once European, with the U20 even world champion.
