Captain Blaubär's sailor's yarn

The series with the figure has been running regularly in the show with the mouse since 1991 , mostly at the end of the show. The individual episodes are only a few minutes long.

action

The main purpose of Käpt'n Blaubär's life is to tell his grandchildren Seemannsgarn about his numerous voyages. While the overall story is shown as a puppet, the yarn is in the form of animated einspielern visualized as flashback. At the end of a story, after the obligatory protest of the three grandchildren that everything was a lie, powerful evidence of the truth of a story often emerges. Every TV show with Captain Blaubär is structured in a similar way.

characters

  • Käpt'n Blaubär (speaker: Wolfgang Völz ) is a bear with dark blue fur. He is an old, apparently retired captain and likes to tell stories from his life as a seafarer, which, however , are viewed by his grandchildren as a sailor's thread , even if at the end of the stories he usually provides proof of their accuracy. He is easygoing and humorous and lovingly takes care of his grandchildren.
  • Hein Blöd ( Edgar Hoppe ) is a rat with yellow-orange fur and an ordinary seaman . In keeping with his name, he is mostly noticed by his naive, stupid, clumsy manner, which sometimes annoys the captain, which is why he often attacks him with swear words like "Hein, du Dösbattel". Nevertheless, he is a loyal assistant to the captain and the two of them basically get along well and are friends.
  • The grandchildren are three young bears from childhood to adolescence. They have no names, but are simply called yellow, green and pink in relation to their skin color. Yellow and green are boys, while pink is a girl with her skin color, voice, and more feminine demeanor. The three of them regularly listen to the captain's stories and, because of the fantastic and surreal content of the stories, always assume that everything is just a lie. Nevertheless, they basically get along very well with their grandpa.
  • Amundsen is a penguin who appears occasionally in older episodes. It is apparently named after Roald Amundsen , a South Pole explorer.
