Canton of Colmar-Nord
The Canton of Colmar-Nord was by 2015 a constituency in the Arrondissement Colmar in the Haut-Rhin in the region Alsace in France .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the departments as part of what was then the "District of Colmar".
With the founding of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Colmar.
From 1871 to 1919 there was no further subdivision of the then "Kolmar District".
On June 28, 1919, the canton became part of what was then the arrondissement of Colmar-Ville, which became part of the arrondissement of Colmar in 1934.
On March 22, 2015, the canton was dissolved.

The canton bordered in the north on the canton Ribeauvillé in the arrondissement Ribeauvillé , in the east on the canton Andolsheim , in the south on the canton Colmar-Sud and in the west on the canton Kaysersberg in the arrondissement Ribeauvillé.
Communities
The canton consisted of part of the city of Colmar .
Colmar was divided into two cantons, this is the less populous part of the city. Another municipality belonged to the other canton.
