Canton of Soultz-Haut-Rhin
The Canton Soultz-Haut-Rhin was 2015 a French constituency in the Arrondissement Guebwiller in Haut-Rhin in the region Alsace .
history
The canton was founded on March 4, 1790 as part of the establishment of the départements as part of what was then the "District of Colmar". With the founding of the arrondissements on February 17, 1800, the canton was redesigned as part of what was then the arrondissement of Colmar. From 1871 to 1919 the area was part of what was then the "Gebweiler District", in which there was no further subdivision. On June 28, 1919, the canton became part of the Arrondissement of Guebwiller.
On March 22, 2015, the canton was dissolved.

The canton bordered the cantons of Guebwiller and Rouffach to the north, the canton Ensisheim to the east, the canton Cernay in the Thann arrondissement to the south and the cantons of Thann and Saint-Amarin , both in the Thann arrondissement, to the west .
