The canton of Brunstatt is an electoral district in the arrondissement of Mulhouse , in the department of Haut-Rhin and in the region of Grand Est (until 2015 Alsace ) in France .

history

The canton was reorganized on the occasion of the constituency reform that came into force on March 22, 2015. The 28 communes belonged to the cantons of Sierentz (all 21 communes), Mulhouse-Sud (5 of the 9 communes) and Habsheim (2 of the 5 communes) until 2015 .

Today's canton of Brunnstatt borders in the north on the cantons Mulhouse-1 , Mulhouse-3 and Rixheim , in the east on Germany, in the southeast and south on the canton Saint-Louis , in the southwest and west on the canton Altkirch and in the north-west on the canton Kingersheim .
