The canton of Colmar-2 is a French constituency in the Arrondissement of Colmar-Ribeauvillé , in the Haut-Rhin department, and in the Grand Est region .
history
The canton was reorganized on the occasion of the constituency reform that came into force on March 22, 2015.
geography
The canton of Colmar-2 borders in the north-west and north on the canton Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines , in the north-east on the Bas-Rhin department , in the east and south on the canton Ensisheim , in the south-west on the canton Wintzenheim and in the west on the Canton of Colmar-1 . When the canton was founded, the city of Colmar and 13 other municipalities became part of the new canton. With the exception of the share in the city of Colmar, all municipalities were in the canton of Andolsheim until 2015 .

politics
In the first ballot on March 22, 2015, none of the four voting pairs achieved an absolute majority. In the runoff election on March 29, 2015, Brigitte Klinkert / Éric Straumann (both UD) won against Marc Coursières / Marion Wilhelm (both FN ) with a share of the vote of 71.45% (turnout: 48.15%).
