An original church in Andolsheim was first mentioned in a document in 801, at that time it was consecrated to Saint Denis . With the introduction of the Reformation, the patron saint of the church was forgotten. From 1687 to 1883 the church was used as a simultaneous church and was consecrated to Saint Georges . The west portal was set up in 1737 and the west facade was renewed in 1838. In 1985 the interior of the church was renovated, which today belongs to the parish of Sundhoffen. The church organ was constructed by Martin Bergäntzel around 1780. In 1958 the organ was restored and renewed from 1979 to 1980.
