geography

The municipality is located in the Upper Rhine Plain on the eastern edge of the Vosges between Colmar and Guebwiller . The municipality is part of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park .

The development of the village is bounded in the west by the Strasbourg – Basel railway line , which also has a train station that is served by trains from the TER Alsace railway company . Départementsstraße D 1bis runs in the northeast .
