Herrlisheim-près-Colmar (German Herlisheim (Oberelsass) ) is a French commune with 1,818 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the Haut-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ).
geography
The municipality is located in the Upper Rhine Plain on the eastern edge of the Vosges between Colmar and Guebwiller . The municipality is part of the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park .
The development of the village is bounded in the west by the Strasbourg – Basel railway line , which also has a train station that is served by trains from the TER Alsace railway company . Départementsstraße D 1bis runs in the northeast .
