Kyle Eckel (* 30th December 1981 in Philadelphia , Pennsylvania ) is a former American American football poker players in the National Football League (NFL). He played in the running back position for the New England Patriots , Philadelphia Eagles and New Orleans Saints .

Career

Eckel was not selected in the 2005 NFL Draft and signed a contract with the New England Patriots , who gave him back to the Miami Dolphins . During the two years with the Dolphins, he could only train with them but not play. In 2007 he played again with the Patriots, but only now and then in the special teams and as a running back behind Laurence Maroney . In October 2008 he signed with the Philadelphia Eagles , but was released after one season.
