The 2016/17 LHJMQ season was the 48th season of the Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec . The regular season began on September 22, 2016 and ended on 18 March 2017 with the Saint John Sea Dogs , the Jean Rougeau Trophy won as point-best team. This was followed by the playoffs for the Coupe du Président , which also won the Saint John Sea Dogs on May 10, 2017.
