State government Ratzenböck II
The provincial government of Ratzenböck II under governor Josef Ratzenböck (ÖVP) formed the Upper Austrian provincial government in the XXII. Legislative period of the Upper Austrian Parliament from October 25, 1979 to October 27, 1985.
In the regional elections in 1979 , the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP) was able to achieve an absolute majority in the 2nd Republic for the first time since 1945. As a result, they again provided five of the nine members of the government. The Social Democratic Party of Austria (SPÖ) accounted for four government members . While the ÖVP government team remained unchanged compared to the previous government Ratzenböck I , Josef Schützenberger was no longer a member of the SPÖ team and was replaced by Karl Grünner . After Robert Hartl's retirement on 21. In October 1982 he was succeeded by Grünner from the state government as Deputy Governor. In the same state parliament session, Leo Habringer was elected as the new state councilor. Rudolf Trauner had previously resigned from the government on October 16, 1980, and Albert Leibenfrost was re- elected for him in the state parliament session held on that day.
