Lauren Stamile

Lauren Stamile (born September 12, 1976 in Tulsa , Oklahoma ) is an American actress .

biography

Stamile was born the third of five children in Tulsa. Her father is a physicist and her mother is a nurse. After attending Cascia Hall Preparatory School, the American completed a theater degree at Northwestern University in Illinois . She then began her acting career in New York City .

Her first roles on television were guest appearances and supporting roles in various films, shows and series such as the Drew Carey Show , Without a Trace , CSI: Miami or Scrubs . Lauren Stamile is known to a wider audience in the recurring role of Nurse Rose from Grey's Anatomy . In the fourth season of the series, she embodies the friend of the surgeon Derek Shepherd, played by Patrick Dempsey . In the American television series Community , she played some episodes of the series friend of the main character Jeff Winger, played by Joel McHale .

In the German dubbing, her voice is spoken by Dascha Lehmann .

In 2009, Lauren Stamile married screenwriter Randy Zamcheck.
