Leila G. Nadibaidze , née Leila G. Mes'chi ( Russian Ле́йла Г. Ме́схи , Georgian ლეილა მესხი ; born January 5, 1968 in Tbilisi , Georgian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Georgian tennis player .

Career

Mes'chi, who won five singles and five doubles titles on the WTA Tour , achieved the best position of her professional career on August 5, 1991 with position 12 in the WTA world rankings. For the United Team she won the bronze medal in doubles at the 1992 Olympic Games with Natallja Swerawa as partner. In 1994 she played six games for the Georgian Fed Cup team , of which she won five. She had lost all of her five Fed Cup games for the Soviet team.

Personal

Mes'chi has been married to Pavil Nadibaidze since 1988. In 1995 she founded a tennis academy in Tbilisi that bears her name.
