Lembit Rajala (born December 1, 1970 in Tallinn , Estonian SSR , Soviet Union ) is a former Estonian football player .

Career

society

Lembit Rajala began his football career in the 1980s. At the age of 17 he made his debut for Tallinna Lõvid . Until the independence of the Republic of Estonia and the end of the Soviet Union , Rajala played for SK Tallinna Sport and FC Norma Tallinn . From 1990 he was under contract with FC Flora Tallinn . Here he celebrated his greatest successes by winning two Estonian championships in the seasons 1993/94 and 1994/95 , as well as winning the cup in 1995. Individually, Rajala also won the title of top scorer in the 1995/96 season with 16 goals. From 1997 he went on the hunt for goals for the then Finnish third division club IFK Mariehamn , where he ended his career in 2001.

National team

Lembit Rajala played in a total of 26 international matches for the Estonian national soccer team between 1992 and 1996 . The striker was only able to score two goals. He took part with the national team in the Baltic Cup in 1993 and 1996 .
