Vitali Gussev (born March 16, 1983 in Tartu , Estonian SSR , Soviet Union ) is an Estonian football player.

Career

Gussev started his career in his hometown with JK Tammeka Tartu. Over the years he changed clubs almost every season, including going to Sweden to Trelleborgs FF and Enköpings SK. In early 2009 he moved to FC Levadia Tallinn , where he won the 2009 championship. He made his debut for the Estonia national team on May 29, 2009 against Wales in a friendly. It was his only mission. In early 2010, the Romanian first division club Astra Giurgiu signed him . There he usually only got a chance from the bench. In the 2010/11 season he was not taken into account. His contract was then dissolved and Gussev was without a club for six months before joining Trans Narva in early 2012. In 2012 and 2013 he was without a club. In early 2014, he joined second division Kiviõli Tamme Auto before joining Maardu Linnameeskond in early 2016 . There he missed promotion twice with his team in the relegation before he scored his team in the Meistriliiga with 43 goals in 2018. However, he had to dismount immediately.
