Goal Henning Hamre (born April 4, 1979 in Flekkefjord ) is a former Norwegian football player who was used as a center forward. He ended his career in 2006 at the age of 28 due to a lack of motivation. Hamre was most recently under contract with Herfølge BK in Denmark. His most successful time was in Estonia, where he was the top scorer in the 2003 season with 39 goals and won the Estonian Championship and the Supercup twice in 2002 and 2003 .
Career
Tor Henning Hamre was born in Flekkefjord, part of the southernmost province of Norway, Vest-Agder . He played in his home region first for Kvinesdal Idrettslag before joining FK Mandalskameratene . After two seasons, the striker moved to FC Flora Tallinn in the Estonian Meistriliiga . There he signed a three-year contract. In his first season in 2002 he was champion with the club and scored 23 goals. In the following 2003 season he was able to defend the title from the previous year with the capital club and was the most successful shooter with 39 goals before Andrei Krõlov . The Norwegian scored seven goals in a 17-0 win against FC Kuressaare . The high runaway win is a record to this day, the seven goals in one game were only set in the 2011 season by the Latvian Aleksandrs Čekulajevs , who scored just as often in the opposing goal against Ajax Lasnamäe . The 39 goal mark was surpassed in 2005 by Tarmo Neemelo (41 goals) and Aleksandrs Čekulajevs in 2011 (46 goals). His accuracy made other clubs aware of him, including Örebro SK and OSC Lille . Finally he signed a contract with Vålerenga Oslo from the Tippeligaen , the top division in Norway. The contract initially ran until May; with Hamre, the Estonian international Kristen Viikmäe from Flora Tallinn also won multiple Norwegian championships. After one season and five missions, he left the club and returned to FK Mandalskameratene. In 2006 he played for the Danish club Herfølge BK before retiring.
