Lipnjaki ( Russian Липняки , German Trausen ) is a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad ( Koenigsberg Region (Prussia) ). It is located in Prawdinsk district ( Friedland district (Eastern Pr.) ) And belongs to Gorodskoje posselenije Schelesnodoroschnoje (township of Schelesnodoroschny (Gerdauen) ).

Geographical location

Lipnjaki is located five kilometers northwest of the former district town Schelesnodoroschny ( Gerdauen ) on a side road (section of the former German Reichsstrasse 141 ) that connects Schelesnodoroschny with Druzhba ( Allenburg ). In town, a road from Perewalowo ( Muldszen , 1936–1938 Muldschen , 1938–1945 Mulden ) and leading via Nowo-Bijskoje ( Friedrichswalde ) flows into it. There is no train connection.

history

In 1874, the place formerly called Trausen was one of the communal units that formed the newly established administrative district of Schloss Gerdauen. This belonged to the district of Gerdauen in the administrative district of Königsberg in the Prussian province of East Prussia . In 1910 there were 198 inhabitants in Trausen.

In 1930 Trausen was incorporated into the Adamswalde district (Russian: Novo-Galitscheski), but in the same year it became the seat and eponymous location of the Trausen district itself . In that year five rural communities belonged to it and remained so until 1945: Adamswalde (Novo-Galitscheski), Friedrichswalde (Nowo-Bijskoje), Grünheim (Kostromino), Peißnick (Cholmogorje) and Trausen (Lipnjaki).

The population of Trausen in 1933 was 282 and was still 258 in 1939.

In 1945 Trausen came to the Soviet Union with northern East Prussia . In 1947 it was given the Russian name "Lipnjaki" and was then incorporated into the Wischnjowski Soviet (Dorfsovjet Wischnjowoje (Altendorf) ) within the Kaliningrad Oblast, which had been in Russia since 1991/92 . Since then, Lipnjaki has been classified as a "settlement" (Russian: possjolok) within the Gorodskoje posselenije Schelesnodoroschnoje (township of Schelesnodoroschny (Gerdauen) ) in Pravdinsk district due to structural and administrative reform .

church

With its almost exclusively Protestant population Traus was until 1945 in the parish Gerdauen (Russian: Schelesnodoroschny) in the same church district within the ecclesiastical province of East Prussia the Prussian Union of churches the parish.

Today Lipnjaki is located in the catchment area of the resurrection parish in Kaliningrad ( Königsberg (Prussia) ) , which was newly formed in the 1990s, within the Kaliningrad provost of the Evangelical Lutheran Church of European Russia (ELCER).
