Sowchosnoje ( Russian Совхозное , German Christinenfeld or Neuhof ) is the name of a place in the Russian Oblast Kaliningrad , which unites two formerly separate villages. It is located in Pravdinsk district and belongs to the Gorodskoje posselenije Schelesnodoroschnoje (township of Schelesnodoroschny).

Geographical location

Sowchosnoje is located on a side road ( Neuhof ) or one kilometer northeast ( Christinenfeld ), which connects Lipnjaki with Novo-Bijskoje and Perewalowo , on the Russian highway R 508 . It is nine kilometers to the former district town of Schelesnodoroschny . There is no train connection.

The two localities with the previous names Christinenfeld and Neuhof were part of the municipality of Friedrichswalde (Russian: Novo-Bijskoje) until 1945 and were naturally closely connected with it in their history. In 1874 they were integrated into the newly established administrative district of Schloß Gerdauen , and in 1930 came first to the administrative district of Adamswalde, but then in the same year to the administrative district of Trausen .
