Lipno ( German  Neu Liepenfier ) is a village in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the rural community Połczyn-Zdrój (Bad Polzin) in the Powiat Świdwiński .

Lipno is located eight kilometers south of Połczyn-Zdrój on a side road connection to Złocieniec (Falkenburg) in the middle of Drawski Park Krajobrazowy ( Dramburg Landscape Protection Park ). Lipno forms a district within the rural community (gmina wiejska) Połczyn-Zdrój.

Until 1945 the place belonged to the district of Neustettin (today Polish: Szczecinek ) on the border with the district of Belgard (Persante) ( Białogard ). In 1939 the village had 244 inhabitants.

Neu Liepenfier had its own school, which was also attended by the children from Gauerkow ( Gaworkowo ) and Klockow ( Kłokowo ).

Ecclesiastically, Neu Liepenfier once belonged to the Marienkirche in Bad Polzin , then to Bramstädt ( Toporzyk ) in the church district Schivelbein ( Świdwin ) of the ecclesiastical province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union .

Today Lipno belongs to the parish Koszalin (Köslin) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland of the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg (Lutheran) Church .
