Rzęsna ( German  Vorbruch, Kr. Belgard ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship . It is located in the Powiat Świdwiński and belongs to the rural municipality Połczyn-Zdrój (Bad Polzin) .

Geographical location

Rzęsna is seven kilometers southwest of Połczyn-Zdrój between the villages of Zajączkowo (Old Sanskow) and Zajączkówko (New Sanskow) . It is traversed by the Mogilica (Muglitz) , which forms a deep gorge here over a length of almost two kilometers.

history

Vorbruch was originally divided: while Klein Vorbruch was an independent estate and police district, the Groß Vorbruch estate was once part of the Jeseritz municipality and police district (now in Polish: Jezierzyce ). Then Groß Vorbruch was combined as a Vorwerk with Neu Sanskow (Zajączkówko) to form an estate district.

In 1867 there were 147 inhabitants in 16 houses in the municipality, in 1939 there were 119 in 27 households.

The school location for Vorbruch was New Sanskow ( Zajączkówko ).

Until 1945 the village belonged to the district Bramstädt (Toporzyk) , the last chief of which was Georg Klix. The registry office was in Alt Sanskow (Zajączkowo) , where Friedrich Bock and Georg Witt last officiated. The police tasks were performed by Oberlandjäger Bahr from Brunow (Bronowo) .

Vorbruch was taken by the Red Army in early March 1945 without a fight. The expulsion of the German population took place until 1947. The village came to Poland as Rzęsna and is now part of the rural community Połczyn-Zdrój (Bad Polzin) .

church

Until 1945 Vorbruch belonged to the parish of Zuchen (today: Sucha-Borkowo ) within the parish of Ziezeneff ( Cieszeniewo ). So the place was incorporated into the church district Schivelbein ( Świdwin ) of the church province of Pomerania in the Evangelical Church of the Old Prussian Union . The last German pastor was Paul Blank.

Today the village of Rzęsna belongs to the parish (Parafia) Koszalin (Köslin) in the diocese of Pomerania-Greater Poland in the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland .
