history

Zajączkówko was once a fiefdom of the Zozenow family , which was later transferred to the von Glasenapp and von Krockow families . Some of the lands belonged to the von Manteuffel families .

In 1867 there were 136 inhabitants in 17 scattered houses. The Vorwerk Groß Vorbruch (now in Polish: Rzęsna ) was already combined with Neue Sanskow to form an estate district , while Klein Vorbruch remained independent.

In 1939 185 inhabitants lived in 43 households in Neu Sanskow, which until 1945 belonged to the Belgard (Persante) district . The administrative district was Bramstädt ( Toporzyk ), until 1945 Georg Klix administered the office. The responsible registry office was in Alt Sanskow ( Zajączkowo ) and was last led by Friedrich Bock and Georg Witte. The competent district court was Bad Polzin (Połczyn-Zdrój) , while the police station was located in Brunow (Bronowo) .

At the beginning of March 1945, the Red Army penetrated New Sanskow. The village became part of Poland and the local population was driven out . Today Zajączkówko is a district of the rural municipality Połczyn-Zdrój and is located in the powiat Świdwiński .
