From 1950 to 1957 he was a member of the Presidential Guard at Anıtkabir . From November 1955 he studied at the military academy, in Naples he completed a NATO training program and was stationed in Cyprus , in 1964 he was stationed in Izmir in the command post of the Allied Forces Southeast Europe . Until 1971 he was engaged in the maintenance of nuclear weapons at the North Atlantic Council in Brussels, 1971: Brigadier General, 1974: During Operation Atilla , his followers, the Turkish Resistance Organization , were dubbed the leading organizations of civil resistance in Cyprus. On September 23, 2010, Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu told Habertürk TV that a mosque, for example, would be set on fire as part of psychological warfare . When asked by the Habertürk correspondent, "Are you burning the mosque?" he replied, "For example, ..." On September 24, 2010, Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu stated that he was misunderstood by Habertürk TV . The Omeriye Mosque in Nicosia was set on fire. On April 23, 1962, lawyers Ahmed Muzaffer Gurkan and Ayhan Hikmet , owners and founders of the Turkish-Cypriot weekly Cumhuriyet , who were related for cooperation between Greeks and Turks, were murdered by the Turkish Resistance Organization . In 1974 Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu was chairman of the special warfare department and reported to Prime Minister Ecevit. Subsequently, Sabri Yirmibeşoğlu was chairman of a NATO news structure in 1978.
