Judicial districts in Istria (1910)

This list of judicial districts in Istria lists all former judicial districts in the Austrian crown land of Istria .

history

Istria belonged to the Austrian kingdom of Illyria until 1849, after which it was united with Trieste and Gorizia and Gradisca to form the new crown land coastal land .

With the imperial constitution of 1861, the margraviate of Istria acquired the property of an independent crown land, although the common kk coastal governor in Trieste and the common law and regulation gazette for the Austro-Irish coastal country were retained.

The organization of the courts also reflected the togetherness of the three areas of the coastal country, as the k. k. Higher Regional Court of Trieste has been established as the competent Higher Regional Court for the areas of Trieste, Istria and Gorizia.

The regional court in Rovinj was also created for the territory of the margraviate of Istria , which stood above the district courts in the judicial districts.
