Santi Sergio e Bacco was one of the seven original diaconia in Rome established by Pope Agato in 678 . It was in the 8th district of Rome within the Roman Forum near the Arch of Septimius Severus . During the pontificate of Pope Gregory III. (Pope) the diakonia and the oratory was enlarged. In 1587 Pope Sixtus V dissolved the Diakonie . Later the church was also demolished.
